V715 Printing color very slow

After we got a new Router on our network. My printer has started printing color very slow. It takes about 5 minutes for one page to print. It never happened before. I updated my drivers from the website.

I tried cleaning everything that did not help.  Please help me or I need to get rid of this printer. I am using only certified ink.

When I did the deep cleaning the color printed very quickly. It seems when I print color from computer this is when it takes a long time.

The printer used the computer the print job(s) are sent from to spool the print job(s).

What type of security are you using in yout wireless router? What channel? Are you using a static ip address for your printer?

When we got router we set up new security key. There are 2 channels. 2.4GHz and 5GHz

Using a Static IP address for router to computer. The printer is wireless connection to computer.

I did not manually set up anything for printer in Router.

Router is Asus RT68U -wireless AC1900

    susieq29,

Printer will connect only on 2.4GHz.

    Try channel 11?

Is it WPA2-PSK(TKIP) or WPA2-AES? Did you try WPA2-PSK(TKIP) Security(Personal)?

    susieq29,

I have a static ip address for my printer. Setting static IP Address for the Dell V715w Printer

I would check the virus program and firewall settings to make sure that they're not blocking the connection.

When you setup the printer for the new network, did you reset the wireless adapter before proceeding?

How do you reset wireless adapter? I unplugged printer and then started it up again after we installed new router.  I think you should know that it only prints slowly when printing color from the computer. Everything else works fine. (Scanning, printing directly from printer, documents).
