What kind of environment is the printer in?  and, how often do you print?  If the printer sets for a long time, the inkjet nozzles can become clogged and cause what you are seeing. 

 

If the nozzles are just clogged, soaking the nozzle end of the cartridge in a shallow container of warm, not hot, water for about 10 minutes usually unclogs the nozzles.

Home Use only. Prints every couple days or so, max a week, so definitely is not a lack of use issue. Additionally, we have replaced the cartridges 3 times and have had the same result on all 3 different sets of cartridges. Which might point to a printer hardware issue, but again as noted in my message, the printer has been replaced as well. Which would point to maybe a Windows or Driver based issue. But for the life of me I cannot fathom what kind of Windows or Driver based issue would cause it to fade out.

If it's fading out, it's only two things, ink cartridges or a hardware problem in the unit. 

 

Try soaking the ink cartridges as noted and see if that makes a difference.  I've seen posts of people with brand new cartridges and they are clogged, and required the soaking to get them to work.

I'm curious to know if you immediately print something else after the last blank page of the multi-page document, does it print ok or still blank?

 

If you wait a while, will it then print OK?

 

Have you tried a multi-page document a couple of pages at a time with a short break between?

 

Ink jets generally have an economy mode to save ink; have you tried that?

 

I'm with fireberd that this wouldn't be a driver issue and suspect the ink flow just won't keep up.  I'd say either clogged heads or faulty design.

 

 

After giving it a short break, it will print again the first page or 2 and then do the same thing as before fading out and eventually ceasing.
