If you have Windows 8, follow the steps below to uninstall the program.
Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.
Enter “Control Panel” in the search box, and then click Control Panel.
Under View by: Select Large Icons, and then click Programs and features.
Click the Support Assist program, and then select Uninstall.
If you have Windows 7, follow the steps below to uninstall the program.
Open Programs and Features by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Programs and Features.
Select the Support Assist program, and then select Uninstall.
After uninstalling the Support Assist program, click here for the Support Assist download link. Just follow the instructions to install it and that should be all.
