I recently installed Office 2003 on my new Dell Dimension. Outlook Express worked previously and Outlook 2003 worked fine.

 

Now however, when I select Send/Receive I get error (0x800ccc92) 'Your email server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password in your account properties....The server responded: -ERR Mate, try:PASS '

 

I have verified username and password in my account properties. I can send email  and pick it up fine on another PC, but the error shows up when attempting to receive email. The same login and password for the same dial-up ISP works fine on another PC, using Outlook Express.

 

I have run system restore to a date prior to installing Office, installed Office and got the same response. I have removed Office and reinstalled it. The same problem remains.

 

I have also noticed that Outlook Express no longer works. I get 'unable to open message store...(0x8007000E,5)' and then 'MSOE.DLL could not be
initialized'.

 

Desperate for help please!
