Just wanted to know if anyone else is seeing this issue. I recently replaced the Lamp in the projector, reset the hours, and set the mode to Eco. Well the projector was functional for 9 hours of Lamp Life before the indicator started showing and the projector wound then power down. Got a second bulb replaced the bulb and reset the hours and left the Eco setting on. Projectors still shutting down. Changed the projector to normal mode and now the projector works.
I have never heard of that kind of issue which you. The 1510x is a very nice projector though. I have one at my school where I work however someone changed the password for the web management access and now I cant get in. sigh! do you know how I can solve this issue?
A dell 1510x multimedia projector was donated to the school I am employed, however someone changed the password for the web Management without my permission. I am now unable to access the some internal features of the projector. Can anyone help me please. Is there a factory password or a method to rest the password.
Did you figure out what the problem was? I have the problem in reverse. My original bulb lasted from July of 2011 until December of 2015. I replaced the bulb. I clean it once a month, when I replace my a/c filters in my house.. it's lasted a year now and powers down after a few minutes when on normal but works fine on eco mode...
