PowerEdge 1950 not accepting OS

Hello, I recently picked up a Dell PowerEdge 1950 and have tried installing an operating system to it. However no matter what OS I choose none of them work. I have tried Linux red hat which gave kernel errors and i have tried windows server 2012 and 2008 R2 both of which BSOD with whea correctable error (124). I thinking its mis-configured raid setup because i am getting this error there "configuration is not allowed: error code unknown" but i have no idea if that's actually the case or if it's something else. Also the bios is running 2.7.0 i have noticed most drivers cant be updated without an os. I would appreciate any help or suggestions.
