R740xd Rear Flex Bays Compatibility
Hi there!
I was wondering if the rear flex bay kits are exclusive to just one of the R740xd chassis. For example, can both the 4x2.5" and 2x3.5" flex bay kits be installed into the 12 Bay LFF and 24 Bay SFF, or is each kit only compatible with one chassis.

12X3.5 chassis support both 2X3.5 and 4X2.5 rear backplane configurations. 24X2.5 only support 4X2.5 rear backplane configuration. 4X2.5 backplane used in 12X3.5 and 24X2.5 are same part. Hope this clarify
