- If you have the LCD bezel you can pre-configure your iDRAC trough that
- If youre in front of your machine hook up a LCD monitor and enter the LCC and setup iDRAC. While there setup the RAID if needed
- If you can reach the iDRAC trough their default IP address... why not using the browser to access the iDRAC? There is no need for putty

"You must use the default iDRAC IP address 192.168.0.120 to configure the initial network settings, including setting up DHCP or a static IP for iDRAC."
Usually the user/passowrd goes root/calvin but it could also not be. Also if you wish to use serial cables, please configure the BIOS to enable serial connection in BIOS.
