What should I do about unauthorized login attempts on Edge servers?

Hello everyone,

I am using Edge servers for my startup company, and I am concerned about unauthorized login attempts on my server. As I have noticed that someone tried to take access to my server. I am wondering if anyone in the community has any suggestions on what tools or measures, I can use to protect my server from unauthorized access.

I have already taken several steps to secure my server, such as enforcing strong passwords, limiting access to certain users, and regularly updating my security software. However, I am still concerned about potential attacks and would like to take additional measures to protect my server.

One potential solution I am considering is implementing two-factor authentication for all users who access the server. This would require users to provide a second form of authentication, such as a security token or biometric data, in addition to their password.

I am also considering implementing intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS) to monitor my server for any unauthorized access attempts. This would allow me to quickly detect and respond to any potential attacks.

However, I am not sure if these measures are enough or if there are other tools or methods, I should be using to protect my server. I would appreciate any advice or recommendations from the community on how to better secure my Edge server from unauthorized login attempts.

Thank you in advance for your help.

    hello Mate,

its from the internal network then you can trace it, else put some good crypto on your firewall to prevent such issues.

    Hope Query is answered.
