This may be a boneheaded question but docu85469 , page 14 describes opening a 'getting started' wizard so that I can begin licensing my clusters.
3 Browsers, all using flash, because EMC hasn't come out with an html5 version of the RP4VM plugin.... and I am either blind or there's simply no 'Getting Started Wizard' as described in the document above. Also have looked at the Cluster management interface (https..../WDM...) and no love there either.
For the community's sake, please note that docu85469 , page 14, step 1 refers to a completely nonexistent feature. This was very intuitive: to license the cluster, from the flash only UI, navigate to the Recoverpoint for VM's plugin. Then, go to 'Administration', then select 'vCenter Servers'. This is actually the place you can add Recoverpoint licensing, not at all like the doc.
Hi there, Licensing can be added through the plugin under Administration -> vCenter Servers -> Licensing > Add - This will launch the Getting Started wizard. Although there are no "Non-existent features", we will clarify this point in our official documentation. Furthermore, we're hard at work on our H5 plugin so stay tuned for more. Regards, Idan
Is there anyway that users could gain access to an early access to the dev copy? As we're migrating to 6.7 everywhere and by policy ADMX templates dropping all Flash plugins organizationally it's getting increasingly hard to use RP4VM outside of the APIs at this point.
Which is a bummer because we love the new AWS native storage tools and the PowerMax VMAX based snapshot options!
