EmailXtender 4.80 SR1

There are some features in 4.80 that we really need (specifically...

BCC and Envelope Journaling is now supported
- The Search for the Word(s) field in the Search Plug-in now has a
maximum of 65,535 characters

however when 4.80 came out last December I was advised by EMC to wait till SR1.

Does anyone have any idea as to when this mythical service release will be released?!! It is 7 months later and I would like to get this upgrade done.

    Hi Darren,

I guess with SR1 you meen Service Pack 1. This was due in June but was postponed. I heard it should finally be released end of July. But hey, only the developers know for certain.

    Hope that helps,
    Jochen.

Not sure this helps but there is a major patch out on the ftp site. It includes the full install. I checked out the release notes and I didn't notice anything about envelope journaling.

SP1 is now available. Notable additions are support for Vista and Outlook 2007.

Interestingly enough, 4.8 SP1 has now been removed from the download site. Hmmmm

Exactly what I meant. I was supposed to install it at a customer's today. They need Exchange 2007 compatibility badly, but who dares install software that has been removed from the official download sites?
