I am new to the forums.  Thank you in advance.  I have Dell Dim. 4100, Windows ME.  Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4 came with my computer.  I am having trouble making a back-up copy of my cds.  Almost 1/2 of my attempts fail ....from 1/3 recorded to 3% left to record.....the cd will pop out and I receive an error message   T0100: 1/0 error (03/0C/00) write error   and below that message   T7118 Track Write Error Command Retry Failed  .   I have all other programs closed.  I have tried shutting down computer.  I have tried copying a cd as my first task when booting up.  There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to which  will successfully copy and which will not.  I also will receive messages saying "insert a cd" when there is already a cd in the drive.  Would greatly appreciate any help as this is very frustrating, not to mention expensive in wasted blank cds.  Thank you.
