Adding Hardrive

Hi,
I have an XPS gen 2 with a Maxtor 120g serial ATA harddrive purchased in March. I would like to add 2nd drive for video storage. Do i need to worry about any of this raid stuff or can I just add new drive the old way? Also, am I limited to drive size with this system or can the 2nd drive be larger than the 1st.  If possible i am hoping to install second drive without worrying about the raid issues.
Thank you in advance!

You can add another drive easily - any SATA drive you want, any size, and separately from the one that is installed already.

I have a question: I'm considering getting a second hard drive for extra storage, storing photos & videos. I'm not sure if I need more hard drive space or extra ram. What is ram? What would you do, get a second drive or more ram? I don't know what the difference is. Thanks in advance,

    jenlicris.

RAM is memory, you have only 256mb of memory, as D2400 has on board graphics, that is using 32 to 64mb of memory, it would help your system by  increasing it to 512mb.  Hard drives are storage, if you want to add a second HD to system, you must first buy a bracket kit for it.  Details of this are here.
