Blu-ray
Anyone hear when Dell will be putting out laptops with Blu-ray players?

I was hoping for Blu-rays in an XPS or Alienware laptop

Blu ray drives were an option previous to December 2009, they have since been removed. The reason I believe is because they are unable to obtain new stock, as this was one of the primary reasons so many people had delays in their shipments late last year.

Very probably true.
If they were to have that same policy on every laptop component now though, it's likely they'd have very few orders in their books at this point in time - such is the problem with delays, due (apparently) to an acute shortage of various laptop components :emotion-40:

I'm pretty sure the Studio laptops come with Blu-Ray.
