Bootable CD

What is a bootable CD?
Where can I download it and burn it onto a CD?

A Windows XP installation CD is bootable. What is the bootable CD you wish to download, needed for?

If you open easy CD creator, and goto "file" and then to "creat new", there should be an option to create a bootable cd. i had to do this to update my BIOS on my 2400.

I have the Reinstall CD from Dell, but it kept telling me there's a newer version of Windows therefore it won't reinstall. I got so frustrated that I took the whole thing down to a computer store and had it reinstalled. Oh well...

Did you want to reinstall windows? if so, did you uninstall it first, otherwise it would give you that message.

To avoid that error message, you first delete all existing partitions when you are prompted, then remake and format them, followed by installing XP.
