Driver installaton

I have an Inspiron 9300
Dell driver download site has driver updates available for my Western Digital Scorpio 40GB 5400rpm Mobile HDD.

The download software insists on a diskette format (floppy) to install the drivers.  This system has no floppy.

What is the approach that should be used??

The short answer is that the drivers are not on my hard drive.

The driver update is located at the DELL download site and this updated is listed as 'critical'.

I have downloaded the update and am attempting to install and there is no apparent way to install since the system has no floppy drive and the driver installation software wants a floppy disk.

Did anyone get this to work. I ran into the same problem!

Unfortunately, the dell driver flash update is bundled into an exe file that wants to create the bootable floppy disk. ... no choice for a bootable cd-rom...

@ DELL haha. shipping systems without floppy but providing the driver updates for bootable floppy drives... *wonder what smart man did that*...
