Installshield (ikernel exe) could not be launched error loading type library/dll
I looked the solution up at MS- they said the problem was one of the three stdole.tlb files that are supposed to be in Win Sys32 is missing. The were right I think- I just have 2 stdole files in Win Sys32 (stdole2.tlb stdole32.tlb) the third stdole file is in win sys (is that correct?) The instructions were go to command prompt and expand the missing file from my XP cd.The computer says it can't expand the target file- is this because it's a Dell reinstalation cd? if so how do I get the file?any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated. thanks
