I just got a new Inspiron 9400, and I have burned DVDs with data on them that I wanted to transfer from my old computer.  Most of the files are able to copy correctly, but some of them cannot be read.  I get Cyclic Redundancy Check errors on my computer.  However, I tried the disks in another computer, an XPS m140, and they were read with no problem.  I could transfer files 1 GB at a time using a flash drive, but this is quite inefficient and pretty annoying as well.  I tried updating my firmware on the dvd drive, but that did not help either. 

 

Any suggestions?
