pushed F12

 ok did the f 12 thing and no go, pushed f 11 f10 can not get to anything that will let me run a system diagnositcs. it wants safe mode so I go there and alls I get is a bunch of words!

    After finding your prior post, now your current post makes sense... Next time just add to it to maintain continuity.

    Did you push F12 WHILE IT WAS BOOTING?  If so, what does "no go" mean?  What did it do?

    Sorry, I was told to push F 12 before windows loads, I did that, after pushing  F12 was suppose to do a full system Diag. But after pushing F12 Alls it would do is go to safe mode, so I clicked on safe mode and a bunch of words about the disks came up.

    On the boot menu that comes up from F12 should be a choice to run the Dell system diagnostics.

    F12 did not wk for me either, someone told me it does wk on cert Dell models but maybe not all (mine 2500)
