    For Servers:
The OpenManage Server Administrator (OMSA) installation includes the agent as well. If you are able to see your servers classified under the "Servers" group, the agent was installed and detected by IT Assistant (ITA) without any problems.

    For Workstations, desktop, laptops:
The agent is OpenManage Client Instrumentation (OMCI). Download it from support.dell.com and use CIM discovery to discover client systems in ITA. (Disable SNMP discovery, enable CIM discovery for the include range while running through the discovery wizard in ITA). If discovered correctly, they should get classified in the appropriate group in ITA devices view.

If you have the respective agents installed, but ITA still fails to classify the systems correctly (i.e. they appear under Unknown group), use the troubleshooting tool in ITA to analyze the problem.

You could use IT Assistant itself for deploying OMSA to Windows servers.

(This cannot be used for OMCI though).
