IT Assistant and Netware
I monitor several servers with IT Assistant, some Windows and some Netware. All of the Windows servers work fine. On the Netware servers, 6.0 and 6.5, I'm asked for logon information at times. Such as when I go into Server Action Alerts. I have yet to be able to respond with any user name and password combination that will work. The Windows computers work fine with the root/calvin combination. When I try those with the netware servers I get an unable to log in to the specified system error message. The SNMP communities are all set the same on all. Yet I can log into server administrator on the Netware 6.0 server using my Novell id and password. Am I missing something ?
The Netware 6.0 servers are SP5 and the Netware 6.5 servers are SP2.
The OpenManage version on Netware 6.0 servers is:
Server Administrator version 1.5.0, insturmentation version 4.10, no updates
The OpenManage version on Netware 6.5 servers is:
Server Administrator version 1.9.0, insturmentation version 5.20, no updates
