Dell Venue 7130 ePSA Camera not installed
My camera is not working on my tablet under windows 10.
Everything else but that works. The BIOS shows the option to enable or disable the camera and the camera is enabled. When I run the ePSA pre-Boot diagnostics it shows me that "Microphone Camera Board Option" = "Not Installed".
Does this mean that it does not see my camera or my camera does not have a microphone. My microphone is a realtek microphone and it seems to be functioning just fine.
Does this mean my camera is not connected?
I am wondering due to a previous repair by a Dell technician and thinking maybe he did not connect it properly.
There are no drivers for the Camera available on the website. The Chipset for my Dell Venues is listed as 10.1.1.18 , the one on the computer is 10.1.1.42 for the Intel chipset. I try to run the 10.1.1.18 and it gives me an option to downgrade, seems to run fine, but It never actually downgrades the drivers.
Would appreciate some guidance before I start taking my tablet apart to check the connections. Otherwise I have driver problems and taking it apart would prove useless, which might mean a complete re-build of Windows 10..arggh
