    Hi and welcome.

First open your Control Panel to your ADD/REMOVE folder and look for an entry such as :

    Ad Tools
    Win Tools

and uninstall them from there if present.

    Next run HiJackThis then:

    1. Click "Config..."
    2. Click "Misc Tools"
    3. Click "Open Process manager"

    -
Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate (if present) and click on (highlight) each of the following

    C:\WINDOWS\System32\asfover.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\ads71cht.exe
    c:\windows\system32\gapsso.exe
    C:\DOCUME~1\Paul\LOCALS~1\Temp\rndrcus.exe

Now double-check and make sure that only those item(s) above are highlighted, then click " Kill process". Now, click " Refresh", check again, and repeat this step if any remain.

Open HJT this and tick these entries if present:

    Pauleon,

Do you have a program running that is setting to stop changes being made to your computer? It should show up in a log but a program such as Startpage Guard for example, won't show in the HJT log.
    Also rerun AdAware and Spybot.

OK, I searched the installed programs, and all I found that looked suspicious was the following:
    TCONTEXT
    BROADJUMP CLIENT FOUNDATION

When I ran ad aware, it said it needed to fix this on reboot: CXTPLS

SPYBOT picked up DyFuCa also.  I have not rebooted yet, but I wonder if you can tell that I need to do something else with this.  Thanks again for all your help!
