Someone Please Help!

Hi,
My computer was running fine until I installed a driver for an external audio interface. Then I ran a disk defreagment, and my computer started performing very slow.  I restored my computer to a couple of days prior to installing the driver and I still can't get it to act normal. At one point, it had to shut down because of an internal error. When I rebooted it, it took for ever to load windows and was acting even worse than before after I logged on.

I have a feeling this is more than a driver conflict I think I may have some malware on my computer.

Here is my HJT Log.

Thanks.

I don't see any signs of malware/spyware in your log. But the presence of this file
    • C:\WINDOWS\system32\dumprep.exe

Indicates an internal system error. It may be a driver issue. Sometimes invoking System Restore will not remove driver files. You may want to try to uninstall the driver and reinstall it.

If no luck you may want to repost your request on the software board.

The entry in running processes is of no concern. It will go away when the problem is fixed. It is a process that comes up, runs, and stores dump information on what the system problem is.
