Log looks pretty good. Looks like we killed it off. There are two ActiveX controls (O16) I don't trust and two leftover registry entries (File Missing) The O16s are up to you. You can keep them or not: They will be downloaded again if you go to their sites. The O23s won't hurt anything but it would be nice to get rid of them. IF Checking them and Fix Checked won't do it then you can try the Misc Tools, Delete an NT Service, then have it search for and remove .Net Connection Service and moto.
Start, Run, regedit, OK to bring up the regedit program.
find HKey_Current_User->Software ->Microsoft->Windows->CurrentVersion>policies (Hit the + sign in front of each Key as you find them. That will open up the subkeys.)
Under Policies is usually an entry named System. If you find it highlight it and press the Delete key. Then OK.
Ron, Thank you for your help. It worked. My Task Manager is working again and I have control of my desktop themes again. THe only thing is, everything looks bigger... like my icons. I don't know that's silly. Anyways, thank you soo much your help.
Start, Control Panel, Display, Settings. Then where it says Screen Area, move the slider a notch to the right. Then Apply You will have to check a little box that says you can see the display after it changes or it will revert back. If that's better but still too big repeat until it is your normal size. You may also want to change the Colors on the same page to True color (32bit).
