Comment:

HMP is a 2nd opinion cloud-based AV scanner that co-exists with your current AV. It uses AV engines from Kaspersky and Bitdefender, which come well-recommended.

 It does not run in real-time to protect your system, it is just an on-demand scanner. The paid version, which I am not recommending, does include malware removal capability.

The time-limited trial includes this removal capability, but I recommend that new users not activate this during the installation process, unless they are experiencing symtoms of infection. The free version still operates indefinitively, and one can always activate this removal function if and when it detects something.
