Network Flow Control Guideline?

Hello,

Is it best practices for our iSCSI traffic with the VNXe and ESXi hosts to have network flow control disabled or enabled?  Were currently multipathing with jumbo frames enabled and are seeing great results.  Wondering if we could lower some of our latency seen with flow control.

Thanks.

Just providing an update for anyone else interested.  We enabled FlowControl for all iSCSI ports (hosts and storage) and performed several virtual machine deployments.  With netflow enabled we did see a slight decrease in latency, and a slight increase in read/write rates.  Without Netflow we saw latency up to 29ms and read/write rates upto 3600KBps.  With Netflow we saw latency up to 23ms and read/write rates up to 43000KBps.  So for us less latency and a faster transfer rate is always better.  I will continue to monitor and keep everyone possted.

    Thanks.
