VNXe Pool

I would like to know how VNXe write data on its disk drives.

When you create 1 pool on 2 RAID groups consisting of RADI 5 (6+1), will the data be written over 2 raid groups evenly?

or will the data be written from one raid group first and then a second group, i mean concatenation?

And I also would like to know how it will move when you add additional disk pack.

Thank you.

you mean it will write stripingly over 2 raid sets of 6+1? right? i mean it will write over 12 disks.

i read somthing like VNXe can write stripingly only over 4 raid groups maxium. is that true?
or can VNXe write data stripingly more than 4 raid groups?

you dont seem to get what i meant. so i will rephrase my question.

Can VNXe spread the data across more than 5 raid groups?

I think AVM for VNX was laid out over 4 raid groups and I would like to know about VNXe.

How many raid groups for VNXe?

    Example.png

Is described as follows in the manual of the VNX.

    EMC® VNX™ Series Release 7.1

Managing Volumes and File Systems with VNX™ AVM
