Dell Vostro 3558 keyboard
Hi
I’ve come across a couple posts that state a vostro 3558 may not be compatible for a backlit keyboard? However, these posts were back in 2017 & one stating there was no option in bios? My laptop has the 4pin connection for the backlit. Has anyone successfully fitted a backlit keyboard with bios update to this model? Thanks.

It seems there is a Backlit keyboard for your laptop.

To be sure you can remove the keyboard and check for the ZIF connector for the backlight.

NOTE:
If you did remove the keyboard and it does have the ZIF connector then you should be good to go.
