Hi, I have an old dell vostro 1015, I want to install 8gb ram on it, can I?

No, it appears that your old system supports a maximum of 4 GB, according to Dell, Kingston (memory manufacturer) and another large memory supplier. 4 GB would be two 2 GB sticks. That is very old DDR2 memory.
