many DID_ERROR & DID_TIMEOUT in Oracle Linux
Hello,
We have 4 DELL RX940 servers running oracle linux connected to VPLEX VS2 local with 2 x UNITY600 back-end storages.
We are running core-banking solution on servers. due to high load we are facing many IO errors in linux OS. I have checked all brocade DS-6510B switches and Vplex firmware log and there is no problem.
How can the issue be resolved ? any idea ?

Hello M.Hani,
DIF/DIX can be used, by default it is not enabled. I would recommend upgrade as well as there are some fixes that can help as well in the newer version of unity code as well as powerpath.

It is best to open a support case for this so that we can pull some logs and see what is going on.

The UNITYs running old OE 5.0.0 and we plan to update the to latest target code of 5.2. We are using powerpath and Vplex running 6.2

Hello M.Hani,
What is your current OE for your unity system? Are you using powerpath on your Linux host? Which version of Vplex are you using?
