? about Administrator accounts. . .

Have a Dell Dimension 1100 - when you run control userpasswords2  you see a "administrator --- account -- group administrators", along with  guest, another tied to Quickbooks, another with my name on it -- group administrators, but when I go to control panel, user accounts, the "administrator" account does not show up. I'd like to delete the one w/my name on it, so the "administrator" user account works automatically, but can't find it to delete. Any ideas?  Thanks  L W

    goaviate,

Download Ultimate Windows Tweaker For Vista and with this program, you can have it show the administrator account. For your saftly concerns, it's alway good to have at least two unrestricted accounts on the computer.

What happens if a virus locks you out of the one account? You'll have a backup plan.
