allocate memory buffer

I had a dell Dimension 4400 2 GHz, 128MB with 80GB hard drive.
recently i had problem with the XP Home, (something my 4 year old did), after I tried to run the Dell Diag which i have downloaded, it created 5 floppy disk for me to boot up with, it's fine loading the first 4 floppys, but on the 5th disk i am getting unable to allocate memory buffer error. I am don't know what's wrong with my PC, and I am not able to find any information at all on this PC, can any one help?

Thank you.

Only replying cause no one has jumped in. Error message may have something to do with the limited amount of physical memory you have but can't give you anything definite.

Did you try System Restore to undo the 'damage' ?

Are you able to access the desktop ?

I believe you can access the Dell-installed diagnostic utility by pressing F12 on reboot.
