backing up
I am having trouble backing up. I have a back up utility on my lap top Inspiron 6000. The wizard goes to a certain point then comes up with this box.
The backup file name could not be used.
Please ensure it is a valid path, and you have sufficient access,
I am trying to back up to a rewritable disk the path is the d drive, the back up file name could be anything I am putting in that field back up. What am i doing wrong?

If you are using Microsoft Backup you cannot write directly to a CD/DVD. You must back up to a file on your hard disk, then copy that file to removable media.
