Read that; it doesn't apply in this case, because ie9 64 bit prints just fine.  Also discovered yesterday that if I select File-->Page Setup, then click OK without changing anything, print will work as long as the instance of ie9 32 bit stays open.  If it's closed and restarted, the same script error occurrs and print will not work.  Also, Windows Live Mail will not print in any case.

Apparently a lot of people have this problem.  After much research on the internet, I found a website with a program called [ADMIN NOTE: Removed for TOU Violation].  The website is [ADMIN NOTE: URL Removed for TOU Violation].  One of the options in this program will reregister all dll and ocx files associated with IE 9.  After running the option and rebooting, I now am able to print in both 32 bit and 64 bit IE 9 and Windows Live Mail.

Has your printer's manufacturer confirmed that your installed printer software version is supported in IE9 (yet)?

I have no idea where you're coming from.  Apparenty you think I must have some connection to the website and program I referenced.  I'm simply posting my experience in the hope that it might help someone else.  I have indeed tried every one of your suggestions, and more.  The program I posted about fixed my problem.  I do note that many other people have tried your suggestions to no avail.  Why can't you just realize that someone else besides you might actually have a solution that works.

The referenced program is freeware.  Why does posting its name and website violate the terms of use policy?

Many "freeware" programs are Tract's to pay per play software or WORSE malware.

This is not pay per play or malware.  It simply works, and has worked for at least four persons.
