I am new to "Windows mail." I have a message I have deleted but it refuses to leave the in-box. When I open it, it says "unknown sender" and "can't get message" (or something like that) but it still shows up in the in-box. And I've shut down the computer about three times.
Try this--in Windows Mail select File, Work Offline, Delete the bad message. You might need to shutdown WinMail, reopen and delete it. Then go back and uncheck Work Offline.
Well, I tried that but it didn't work. If I open the message and try to delete it it says "The message could not be deleted." If I try to delete it while it is closed, I get the message "An unknown error has occurred." (I wrote down the messages this time.). Do you have another thought?
