I am using the Dell Upgrade Assistant CD for Windows 7 for my Studio 1737 laptop. When I get through the system analysis screen I am being told I need to upgrade my Digital Persona 4.0.1 Software (fingerprint driver). However when I click on the wizard the default operation is to remove. The second option is to repair which is the option I keep checking. However when I finish the repair, reboot, and then start over I am told that the the software update was not successful and the assistant will not let me proceed. A. Should I uninstall the Digital Persona driver?
