Dell Logo Screen
I have an old Dell Lattidue PC which I use as a backup (spare) computer - just in case my main Dell Studio PC has a problem. The logo screen on the Lattitude PC displays for about 30 seconds and slows down the boot sequence. Can I reduce the time that the logo screen appears?

Hi,
If its the Dell logo we talking about there is an option in BIOS known as 'Quick Boot', by default this option would be selected. Again a 30sec POST would me your HDD is taking time to read, this mainly happens with old Harddrives or with the ones about to crash.
If its the Windows logo then there is a lot to look into.
