disable user account control only for admin and leaving it enabled for low rights users (help please)
trying to disable uac just for admin but i can't acsess the management console. i clicked on the start button and typed secpol.msc then enter but when i expand security policy an error message shows (mmc could not create the snap in) i don't think my console is enabled i really need help with this one. thanks

Hey i figuered it out myself were theres a will theres a way.
You can adjust them in the registry here (regedit)
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Policies\System]
These are the main keys that affect UAC, equivalent to the secpol.msc
settings. Just change the values
"ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin"
"ConsentPromptBehaviorUser"
"EnableInstallerDetection"
"EnableLUA"
"EnableSecureUIAPaths"
"EnableVirtualization"
"PromptOnSecureDesktop"
"ValidateAdminCodeSignatures"
"FilterAdministratorToken"Yes no more annoying prompts !!!! Problem Solved

Secpol is not available in Vista Premium.
