Do I need drivers for Mother board if I replace Hard drive?

Hi
 
I have Dell Optiplex  GX150 PC.
I need to replace the hard drive. I have a spare hard drive in another PC running Windows XP. If I install this hard drive to DELL PC,  do I need any drivers for mother board etc. for replaced hard drive to recognise DELL PC?

    If your drive is bootable with a OS installed, the system should recognize it immediately.
     
    You may have to go into bios just for it to update the hardrive then exit and save; I find this happens occasionally.
     
    If its a blank harddrive, insert os disk and boot from cd/dvd...format new hd, partition and install on partition
     
    Reboot and Voila
