drop down list, passwords, etc...

Hi,

Can someone tell me how to clear out the history for drop down list and passwords.  I am talking about when you, for example, are filling out information such as your address or a password or a search function you can click on the box and all the past inquiries are there.  I would like to be able to clear out past inquires but I would also like to be able to select which ones to clear.  I do not want to do a complete deleting of the history.  I hope you understand what I am talking about.  I was not sure how to ask the question.

Thanks,

Dan

    Heavydan,

I think you're referring to the Auto Complete function in Internet Explorer.  To delete unwanted entries in the dropdown box, simply click on the item to highlight it and press the DELETE key.

Open Internet Explorer, click on Help|Contents and Index.  Scroll down the list to "entering Internet Addresses".  Below that is "using Auto Complete".  Double click on "using Auto Complete" for additional information.

    Hope this information helps.
