I am installing a racing car game for Grandson.
It doesn't work right on Windows ME, Dimension 4100.
I put it on XP Dimension 4400 and works ok.
Maybe the problem is Video Card. Can I download one
from Dell?
I have the 32 MB NIVIDIA TNT2 M64 APG GRAPGICS
After I install game on ME I see and hear music. Then
I get a greyed out screen, you can see car but I can't
click on anything.
Please help, I don't want Grandson using my XP computer.

No, you cannot download a video card from Dell. Your card is very basic. Check the game's specifications to see the minimum card required. You may need a newer version of DirectX on your 4100.

I have the Nvidia Riva TNT 2 Model 64.....I understand that is really outdated.
Now the question is if I download the newest driver for that will the game work?
As I said I get the sound and some picture. It seems I have the rest of the system requirments for installing the game....
Another question is will I ruin the computer if I am doing wrong?
Edna:
You need to read the requirements for the game and see if the 32mb graphics card is adequate.
Drivers will not make the card perform wtih the game.

You are saying Drivers will not make the game run.
I would like to know why?
As I said I have all the other requirements from what the booklet reads.
Everything except that outdated NVIDIA RIVA TNT 2 Model 64......
What I am saying, and have said several times, is for you to see what the requirements for the video card are.
It's right on the box, it tells you the minimum video card required to run the game. What does it say?
If you cannot answer that question, sorry but I can't help you.

Did you read what I said?.....I have what the requirements call on the CD directions with the exceptions of the NVIDIA RIVA TNT 2 Model 64....
Thanks for your comments!

I went back and read every one of your responses. No where did you state clearly, not even in this post, that your video card does not meet the requirements of the game.
If the game says that you need a better video card than you have, there is NOTHING you can download or do to your video card to fix that.
