gx270 wont start

hi i had a problem with my pc last week it started up and said to reset date and time in bios then started up ok so i restarted it to make sure it was ok and it was fine. ....next day ahhhhh nuttin the power button and ide lights just flash the fans move for a second and thats it.. was on nights so left the pc for a couple of days then pressed power button and it started a warning message came up about warning and something about thermal problem but was ok and restared ok for the next couple of days then this morning i tryed to start it and its dead again lights flash fans spin for a moment and thats it so got a new battery .....didnt do anything ... took battery out for 10 mins ..... didnt start ...unplugged everything .. ie gc. hd. memory. tryed my other power supply now im lost HELP!!!!!!!

IF ITS NOT THE SAME CAN U TELL ME WHAT MOTHERBOARD I NEED PPPPPLEASE AND IS IT HARD TO PUT THE PENTIUM CHIP IN ??? OR SHOULD I JUST GO FIND A QUIET PLACE IN MY HEAD N LIVE THERE....

    Say hello to a new MOBO.  Those 270's have a known issue and about 40% have been replaced last I had heard.

    The GX270 uses half height card slots and the description you posted looks like a standard size board.  Besides, there is not an AGP slot on the GX270 board

    o sorry yes its a sff motherboard in a large case it has 1 agp slot and 1 pci slot i took it out of the sff case myself and put it in a large gx270 case a couple of months ago and put more memory a new 310w power supply and a ati radion x800xt card in it

    o but ive got an agp slot and 1 pci slot its a sff gx270 motherboard and ive got a x800 xt graphics card in the agp slot lol so hope it is...i looked at my spec and it says it does have a agp and pci slot..... i looked at the cupacitators (cant spell it) and there not leaking and look fine thats why 40% got replaced any other ideas ....please ive got to use my old tiny 1.5gh with a geforce 5200gc and it sounds like a plane taking off lollolol
