Have an E1505, installed Vista Ultimate 32 clean, not the upgrade route. Installed all the dell drivers for Vista 32 including QuickSet. All the special key combos work great like Fn-F2 for wireless. The only problem is that the Media Center button won't start Vista Media Center. I'm assuming its a driver thing, but I thought QuickSet handled this. What driver do I need to install? I've searched support.dell.com and can't really find any other drivers. I'm probably missing something really simple, but still could use alittle help.
for launching Media Direct outside of windows.... what about once booted into windows?
in windows XP the media direct button was controlled by Quickset, once the system was booted to windows. Quickset would then check for about 3 programs, Media Direct, Dell Media Experience, or Media Center.
currently in Vista, quickset does not attempt to launch anything with the media direct button.
