how does vista compare?
i just got my E1405 and don't understand how windows vista works, do you have to download it? is vista better?

Vista blows XP away in my opinion...i wouldn't reccomend the upgrade... I purchased the full OS and have yet to experience any of the problems others are experiencing.It's a nice OSDELL-Donald K

Vista is more user friendly & has better system security than XP. I agree, that in general upgrading to Vista isn't worth the time & expense. Vista does require more hardware than XP especially RAM & Video processor.
