I am having a problem of to many programs running in the back ground on my computer, and I am looking for any help I can get on how to get rid of them. I know that if i go into task manager under processes i believe it will show me all the programs that are running but, my problem is that i dont know which ones not to erase, and which ones to erase. If anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated. thank you
If you are using Windows XP what indication are you receiving that you have too many programs running in the background? How many processes are usually running when you check Task Manager? How much RAM is installed in your computer? When you open Task Manager what numbers are shown in the Commit/Charge figure at the lower right?
