reinstalled OS.

1st time installed IE8.

was getting massive pop-ups despite pop-up blocker being on. so in addition, i went in internet options and played with securty, privacy, and advanced options, which i've done many times before... but for some reason i don't have my google toolbar/zonealarm extreme security in the browser anymore. it's not even in the drop down menu when right clicking up above(which usually contains these options). i've restored settings in options with no change in browser. i don't know how ZA ex sec adds to browser but i went to download google's toolbar, again, and it said i aready have it...

what's wrong?
