Installshield Problem

I have recently installed a patch for Windows XP, and when I try to install any game that uses InstallShield, it will not install.  Sometimes, when I start to install the program, InstallShield will either dissapear or it will freeze up, but it will never install my games.

Help Me please

    your best bet is to uninstall the patch and see if the problem still exists.
