I also have had my system for 2 1/2 years and all was doing GREAT until Microsoft upgraded to sp2. That was when my computer went down.

I have a DEll 2350 Dimension. I have a Lexmark x5150 printer all in one. I had to wipe my computer clean and reload. All my programs loaded like they were suppose to. My printer which I have the disks for I can not get to load. I even went into Lexark site to download the drivers and that did not work. I am running Windows xp sp1. I have even made sure my printer is unlocked. I just do not know what to do. I need help, please. I don't have anything in my programs that say's I even have a printer.

I am not sure where to go to look for  the information on chipset download.

I must be really stupid!!!!!!!!! At least I am beginning to think I am. I have downloaded drivers:

I am still not having any luck. All of these are on my desktop but I thought I had downloaded more but I am not sure where they went or even if I downloaded anymore,

I just received an email from Microsoft wanting me to update to Sp2. I really am afraid to do that since that was the reason I had to reload all. What do you suggest?
