missing winsrv windows will not start up
When trying to start up the computer we get a blue screen and a message saying
This application has failed to start up because winsrv was not found
I have found a solution on the Microsoft knowledge base article ID 304449
but I cannot get past the blue screen and message to carry out the instructions.
I have tried F8 and starting with
Last known good configuration
Safe mode
Safe mode with command prompt
can anyone explain ( in simple terms) how I can over come this problem
